200 Years of Royal Arch Freemasonry in England 1813-2013
My second book cover commission, this time published by Lewis Masonic, a publishing company that specialises in Masonic texts and products. In celebration of the 200 year mark of Royal Arch, '200 Years of Royal Arch' was written by Yasha Beresiner.
This time I only designed the front cover and the in-house designer worked around it to create the rest of the sleeve cover - I should really learn how to do covers all over for the future! I am really proud of it and that I build everything but the text from scratch and learnt how to create a pattern for the background detail. It was nice to play around on Photoshop and see what I could create and that the publishers were pretty happy with the design all the way through with only minor changes being made. Being properly published and being part of a big event where the design was also used on plastic bags and leather bookmarks really made me feel excited and I really hope everyone likes it. I'm really happy with it and think the whole books looks great!
